Experience our personalized mobile sawmill service right at your location. We transform your logs into usable lumber efficiently and with care, tailored to meet your needs. Our mill can handle logs up to 32 inches in diameter and 10 1/2 feet long. Quarter and Rift Sawn, Dimensional Lumber or Flat Sawn operations to choose from. Price is per board foot of rough sawn lumber as it comes off the mill. $1.00 for Flat Sawn $1.50 for Dimensional Lumber $2.00 for Quarter/Rift Sawn In addition to a $75 set up fee. (The consultation would cover this) $25 per broken blade due to metal or other foreign objects in the wood. Quarter and Rift sawn lumber is more expensive, but it's more stable and creates a more desirable grain pattern. The process to mill quarter and rift sawn lumber is more labor intensive and creates more waste. Dimensional Lumber is a great way to use your lumber on projects around the house from framing sheds to building decks. There is less focus on grain orientation here and more on maximizing your logs. Flat sawn lumber creates the "Cathedral" look and can leave the live edge intact if that is your goal. It's a less labor intensive way to mill logs and is therefore cheaper.
